Jeff Gallo
Director Program Management, Strategic Partnerships Group
Yazaki Innovations

Jeff has spent nearly 30 years at Yazaki, beginning his career as an engineer before moving into program management, where he has more than 25 years of experience. He has led programs across wiring harnesses, electronics, and switches, supporting customers such as Stellantis, GM, Nissan, Freightliner, and International. His long tenure has given him deep institutional knowledge and a clear understanding of Yazaki’s internal challenges, enabling him to translate innovation into meaningful operational improvement.
Within Yazaki Innovations, Inc – Strategic Partnerships Group (YII‑SPG), Jeff and his team connect the company’s most critical business needs with emerging technologies from the startup ecosystem. SPG collaborates with internal stakeholders to identify high‑impact pain points, then scouts, evaluates, and partners with startups offering promising solutions. Through structured proof‑of‑concept projects, the team validates technical performance and demonstrates return on investment before scaling solutions across the enterprise.
Their work supports Yazaki Innovations’s focus areas, including supply chain, sustainability, manufacturing, vehicle systems, and next‑generation energy, helping turn early‑stage innovation into enterprise‑ready outcomes.
Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Science in Engineering Management from the University of Michigan. Outside of work, he enjoys time with his wife and three children and is exploring new hobbies as his kids begin their own journeys.
