Dr. Pramita Mitra is a Manager, Supply Chain Sustainability Digitization within Ford Motor Company Enterprise Technology organization. In her current role, Pramita leads a team of software engineers to deliver digital tools to meet regulatory and compliance requirements in the environmental, social and governance space.  

In her prior role at Ford, she served as the resident expert in Blockchain technologies and was instrumental in bringing blockchain education and awareness to the top leadership of the company. During 2020-2023, she co-chaired the Supply Chain Working Group in the Mobility Open Blockchain Initiative, a non-profit consortium of major automakers, suppliers and blockchain technology partners.  

Currently she has been active within Ford in driving the evaluation of Catena-X, an emerging Industry Standard within the automotive industry for secure and standardized data exchange among supply chain participants. Pramita earned her Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from University of Notre Dame.
