Phil York currently serves as Product Lead for Inbound Logistics at Ford Motor Company, where he drives innovation and operational efficiency across the supply chain including across transport, logistics, customs and material flow. Based in Dearborn, Michigan, he leads the development of OKR-driven product roadmaps, overseeing digital transformation initiatives such as the implementation of enterprise real-time location services (RTLS), transport and yard management solutions across all North American vehicle operations plants. With a career at Ford spanning nearly two decades, Phil previously held key roles in Manufacturing IT, including Plant IT Site Manager, where he led large modernisation projects and optimised infrastructure across multiple sites. Earlier, he managed global deployment of Ford’s Next Generation Assembly Vehicle System (NGAVS), launching the system at greenfield sites in Thailand and upgrading scheduling platforms in major US plants. Phil York combines deep technical expertise with a people-first leadership style and holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Eastern Michigan University.
